Mr Mak Mun Whai

Mr Mak is General Secretary of the National Transport Workers' Union (NTWU) and has served the union since 2002. He has held multiple appointments in the Executive Committee including Vice-President and General Treasurer before being elected in 2021 as General Secretary.
 
Mr Mak is a seasoned unionist who has continuously been involved in championing transport workers’ rights and welfare through several NTUC and NTWU initiatives such as the Public Transport Tripartite Committee and is also the Co-Chairperson of the NTUC Land Connectivity Cluster. Mr Mak received the Comrade of Labour Award and Comrade of Labour (Star) Award in 2012 and 2022 respectively.
