FINDINGS OF PTC’S SURVEYS ON CUSTOMERS’ SATISFACTION WITH PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Please refer to the Public Transport Council’s (PTC) news release, “Findings of PTC’s Surveys on Customers’ Satisfaction with Public Transport”, which was issued on 13 February 20231.  The release summarised survey results for the 2022 Public Transport Customer Satisfaction Survey (PTCSS) and the Public Transport Survey for Persons with Disabilities (PwD Survey).

2          As part of PTC’s recent review in preparation for the next run of the survey, it was found that the weighting methodology for the 2022 PwD Survey was not applied correctly for the computation of overall mean and percentage satisfaction scores for the 2022 survey findings. As a result, there were errors in the two tables, in Annex B, paragraph 5.  Please see Table 1 and 2 for the published scores and the correct scores (in italics).
