Dr Wong is an Associate Professor (Education) in the Department of Economics at the National University of Singapore. His research interests are in transportation economics, urban economics and empirical industrial organisation. His current research focuses on transport demand with projects concerning consumer valuation of electric buses and sub-optimal transport mode choice.

He received his PhD and Masters in Economics from University of California, Irvine.
